“A Walk In The Garden.”

I can enjoy the serenity and beauty of a garden.  The sheer wonder and awesome majesty of the Craftmanship and Artistry of GOD just speaks His Name.

Let’s take a trip to explore The Garden of Eden The Entrance.

🌴Perfection was GOD’s Intent. Simplicity in an environment of indescribable beauty.

🌴Peaceful coexistence between GOD, man, and creation. Harmony.

🌴Abundant in dietary provisions.

🌴Man had a responsibility (job) = care for, nurture, CULTIVATE the garden and it’s needs.

🌴Man communed with GOD in this serene oasis. Relationship #1 — Man with GOD originated here.

🌴Man did not care about what was beyond the sphere or realm of his GOD-given environment; he simply fulfilled his ordained responsibilities — willingly.

🌴The first “wedding” occurred here.

🌴The first “marriage” was instituted here.

Man vowed his love for his companion in this uncomplicated environment.

🌴Relationship #2 began here — Man and Woman.

The first couple’s undaunted love is solid first with GOD, then with each other.

⚡️The MOMENT “distraction” is allowed to enter the picture, sin is born and chaos breaks loose. Enter “doubt and destruction.”

🌀For the first time, weeds of doubt are sown and reap the whirlwind! These weeds give way to erosion to BOTH Relationships (GOD and man; Man and Wife). And it all happened in an instant.

🌀Man and woman attempt to “fig leaf” their problems (even in the face of GOD) but their schemes to “sew” their relationship without asking GOD for forgiveness multiplies their problem (sin).

⚡️GOD casts Man out of the First Home (GOD is Holy and requires the same from his Inhabitants). GOD “cleaned house” to purge the sin.

⚡️Man chose to allow distraction in and casted GOD out of his thoughts.

⚡️GOD honored man’s free will to choose and set him free to live as he chose (along with the burden that man could not relieve himself of his sinful ways).
Ponder:

“Doubting GOD is the (first) root of distraction. It leads to erosion and destructive weeds that eventually choke off the Relationship.”

Now, let’s explore The Garden of GethsemaneThe Exit Becomes the Entrance.

🌳Jesus walks into this garden to commune with The Father.

🌳The Relationship between the Father and Son are so intensely close, that the Son is in total submission to the Father and bares His Soul to Him.

🌳What separates them right now: The Flesh (Jesus in human form) and the Sin of the world (Jesus ‘ purpose for coming).

🌳Heavy-hearted for the torment about to befall Him, Jesus is agonizing. The burden = the weight of man’s sin of rejection of GOD.

🌳His example to us is clear: OBEDIENCE to GOD, true submission to the point of death, maintains the Relationship.

Eden was the beginning of Relationship with GOD’s perfect design.
Proving that even under the perfect environment and circumstances, man chooses “outside” of the Will of GOD when he allows distractions to enter in and break that bond.
Prideful (sinful) man blames GOD.
The result is catastrophic to say the least — GOD must “clean house” and purge the sin.

Mankind is forced out. Sin has been birthed. Life becomes a struggle.

There will be no recourse for man until another Garden experience.

Gethsemane
is Jesus’ final private moment in prayer with the Father. He is feeling the full weight of the sin of the world (that same sin that orginated in Eden).
Jesus cries out pleading with the Father, but humbly submits to His Divine Will (180° from Adam’s blame game in Eden).
The betrayer in BOTH Gardens is Satan: as the conniving serpent in Eden who distracted Eve and intended for her to choose her own ways and not GOD’s; in the flesh (Judas), who chooses the love of money over the love of GOD. The ultimate sell-out (“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”)
Jesus, is taken out of Gethsemane, but unlike Adam, He goes willingly. This Sinless Man is carried away (physically) by sinful man.

In Eden, sinful man is forced out of the Garden by a Holy God, having been carried away by his own sin.
The point to grab here is that OBEDIENCE requires HUMILITY. Had Jesus not humbled Himself to the point of death, in obedience to the Will of GOD the Father, man would still be condemned.
Jesus’ Exit out of Gethsemane paved the entrance into Heaven for all mankind, RECONCILING the broken Relationship from Eden.

GOD desires a sincere personal Relationship with us — but we must be willing to leave behind the sin of the former life (Eden), go through the hard times (Gethsemane) of growth in obedience, in order to live a full and abundant life.

Girlfriend ~~ have you had your garden experience with Jesus?  Have you entered in with sin and walked out clean and refreshed?  Have you removed your sad attempt at fig leaf hiding to enter into a Relationship out in the open?

If you have yet to reconcile with the One Who says you are worth dying for, today is the day of Salvation!

Hebrews 3:12-19 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” And who was it who rebelled against God, even though they heard his voice? Wasn’t it the people Moses led out of Egypt? And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness? And to whom was God speaking when he took an oath that they would never enter his rest? Wasn’t it the people who disobeyed him? So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest.

I love you to Heaven and Back Sweet Sister of Mine ~~

I'm a GOD Girl that desires to fulfill the Purpose that He has breathed into her heart: to bring up the ones coming up behind her. Titus 2 encourages women like me to reach out beyond our comfort zones and become transparent and vulnerable for the sake of those who want more of GOD and to walk closer with Him. A perfect past is not mine to speak of -- I don't even know what that is -- but I DO know the One Who holds my future, and He has redeemed me from the hurts of yesterday to give me a hope for tomorrow.
