“Prayers For Paris.”

Amidst all the uncertainty in the world, one thing remains consistent: GOD is love.

When tragedy strikes it’s hard to reason why ~~ and even harder to understand.  These are those times we have to open our clenched fists and raise them high and allow GOD to fill them with love to pass along to people in need.

Events and evil occurrences are not always for us to comprehend ~~ if we did, we would be spinning our wheels out of control trying to solve them.  That’s not our job; that’s GOD’S JOB.  Our job is to remain faithful and obedient and just keep doing what He has told us to do: LOVE.

When we love ~~ really love ~~ our hearts overflow with a passionate goodness ~~ this overflow originates from the Originator of Love, GOD Himself.  We are incapable of conjuring up a love worthy of passing along ~~ man in his selfish state would attach conditional strings to his manufactured love.  And likely it would only flow towards people with whom he favors ~~ and whenever he’s in the mood for it.

John 3:16-17 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

GOD loves us this much: that His very own Son died in our place so that we could be reconciled back to Himself.

And while death is often viewed as a tragedy, His Death breathed life back into our souls.

We may not understand why GOD allowed for the devastation in Paris ~~ but we must be willing to be that extension of Him by letting His love flow freely from us in the form of prayer and sustenance for those in need.

Those innocent lives that were suddenly changed in an instant ~~ the loved ones that have been taken from their families ~~ they leave behind others who will feel the sting and the ache of loss forever.  The mayhem in the streets and the panic among the survivors will never be forgotten.  And for all involved we continue to pray.

So we must love in whatever capacity we are able ~~ prayer, aid, and support.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 13 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love

GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL, Girlfriend ~~

I'm a GOD Girl that desires to fulfill the Purpose that He has breathed into her heart: to bring up the ones coming up behind her. Titus 2 encourages women like me to reach out beyond our comfort zones and become transparent and vulnerable for the sake of those who want more of GOD and to walk closer with Him. A perfect past is not mine to speak of -- I don't even know what that is -- but I DO know the One Who holds my future, and He has redeemed me from the hurts of yesterday to give me a hope for tomorrow.
